1 year ago today, an EF-2 tornado tore through Athens, Alabama, with winds over 120 mph, destroying homes, snapping trees and power poles, and leaving more than 18,000 customers without power across Limestone County. Over the next 6 days, Taylor Electric crews, alongside Athens Utilities and Florence Utilities, worked around the clock to rebuild the system and restore power to the community. A true testament of a community and like minded individuals coming together for a greater good.
