We welcome Kevin Pape, PE, PLS, back to Vierbicher! 👋

Kevin returns to our Madison office as a Surveying Project Manager. He brings nearly 30 years of engineering and surveying experience in land development projects.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys the outdoor thrills of downhill skiing, hiking, and hunting. ⛷️🍂

Our Planning and Community Development team has been busy, recently concluding a nine-month partnership with the City of Fond du Lac for planning services.

Our collaboration included:

• Training new Community Development staff
• Our Municipal Services Planner, Matt Miller, hosting on-site office hours 1-2 days per week
• Fielding inquiries from the public regarding development and zoning
• Hosting discussions with developers for future housing projects
• Staffing Plan Commission, Board of Appeals, and Downtown Architectural Review Board (DARB) meetings
• Review of:
- Site Plans
- Rezonings
- Special Use Permits (i.e. Conditional Use Permits)
- Certified Survey Maps
- Grant submissions
- Exterior façade and signage improvements for Downtown Architectural Review Board
- Property verifications
• Grant writing services for a WEDC Community Development Investment (CDI) grant downtown
• And more!

Our team’s efforts kept city planning services operating smoothly amidst staffing transitions while supporting downtown building updates and bringing new housing to the city.

To celebrate this successful collaboration, Matt and city staff celebrated at The Big Garlic, one of the projects reviewed for DARB!

🎉 We’re excited to welcome Haylee Walls to the Vierbicher team!

Haylee joins our Green Bay office as a Project Engineer. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a degree in Environmental Engineering, Haylee brings a strong foundation in environmental processes and hands-on project work.

Having served in key technical roles, including as a Treatment Intern and Environmental Intern, she brings valuable experience in environmental systems that will directly support our engineering projects.

Outside of the office, Haylee enjoys staying active at the gym and swimming. In her downtime, you can find her reading, cooking up a good meal, or playing PC games. We’re thrilled to have Haylee on the team and look forward to the impact she will have in our Green Bay office!

The largest development in Monona history is underway! 🏢🏗️

Vierbicher is providing comprehensive civil engineering and surveying services to an exciting mixed-use project, located right next to the new Topgolf on West Broadway.

Phase one, The Greenline, has officially broken ground, bringing 357 modern apartments, 16,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and future plans for a 1.5-acre public gathering space for community events.

We are proud to work with Galway Companies, Inc on this historic community project.
