Our team recently completed a long-distance project involving the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of precision machine equipment for a client in Huntsville, Alabama.

This job required a three-hour trip and an overnight stay—showcasing our team’s commitment to quality, safety, and reliability every step of the way.

At Aldridge Industries, we take pride in going the distance to meet our customers’ needs, wherever the job takes us.

Our team is hard at work bringing this Wotan Boring Mill back to life. In this time-lapse, you can see our technicians grinding, scrubbing, and washing every surface by hand — a true hands-on effort to restore this classic machine to its former strength. The final results are already taking shape!

Restoration in Progress: Wotan Machine Project

Our team has been working to restore this 30-year-old Wotan horizontal boring mill

These photos show the before and after of a full, detailed cleaning process — completed entirely by hand by our technicians. This is just the first step toward bringing this machine back to full working condition.

This week our team had the opportunity to support a national aerospace firm by unloading and moving a large aerospace component.

The project involved carefully offloading with forklifts, transitioning the piece onto rolling machine skates, and then manually guiding it into the warehouse with precision and teamwork.

Handling projects of this scale requires safety, planning, coordination, and attention to detail — all of which our crew brought to the job.

In this partnership, manufacturers in Alabama now have direct access to Gurutzpe’s world-class technology—backed by local service, installation, and support from our team here in Madison.

We’re excited to bring this capability to our state and to support the companies who will put these machines to work.

Aldridge Industries will provide the sales service, installation, and maintenance of these machines.

Keeping heavy machinery running at peak performance often comes down to one critical component.

This Lagun Radial Arm Drill, built to drill precise circular holes into hardened steel, recently needed a clutch replacement. Without it, the machine could not deliver the power or consistency required for production.

Our team traveled to the customer’s site, removed the failing part, installed a brand-new clutch, and brought the machine back online. In the video below, you will see it running smoothly at both high and low drill speeds. The machine is now ready to get back to work without extended downtime.

At Aldridge Industries, we know time is money, this is why we provide on-site machine repair, maintenance, and installation. Our goal is to keep industrial machines operating at peak efficiency.

Our team at Aldridge Industries is hard at work disassembling, repairing, and restoring a Wotan Boring Machine. This process involves carefully breaking the machine down into major components, repainting, repairing, and preparing them for reinstallation.

✅ Primary Gear Motor – the engine for the vertical guideway column

🔧 Wiring Restoration on a Wotan Boring Mill – by Aldridge Industries 🔧

At Aldridge Industries, we specialize in machine repair, maintenance, installation, and sales — and this recent project is a great example of the detail and precision we bring to every job.

This was part of a larger effort to restore manual control of the X, Y, and Z axes on a Wotan Boring Mill. Each individual wire was labeled, routed, and neatly re-terminated into its corresponding terminal — a small section of the job, but critical to ensuring proper function and long-term reliability.

Before and after shots show just how important clean and organized wiring is in industrial equipment.
