Today was the day our team has been working towards all season - the LOUISIANA REGIONAL COMPETITION!!

We are grateful to have had the opportunity to compete against 22 other top teams in Louisiana. Although King 👑 Greg wasn’t performing at his best, we are happy to have placed 15th in the qualifying matches. More importantly, we take away new skills and friendships as we look to next season!

Good luck to all the teams who are traveling to Worlds in Houston and other premier events around the world!

Our team had the opportunity to present to Ampirical today. We showed them our robot - King Greg, and told them all about FIRST and how they could get involved with teams like ours!

We were also able to tour their Covington office and see where so many engineering projects are taking place and learn about how they partner with energy companies around the US to build structures that bring us power.

Than you Madisonville Elementary School PTA for inviting us to share STEM at tonight’s Solve & Serve Math Night! We enjoyed creating MES circuits and showing off our outreach bot with the Paper Airplane and new Hot Wheel Launcher!!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to compete against 18 other high school and junior high FTC from around Louisiana in our second qualifier hosted by FIRST Torbotics Team 2080 at Hammond High Magnet School.
We had a great time, and there was some fierce competition, but we were Robot Alliance Finalists 🥈 with the Jesuit Blue Jays FTC Team 6446 and received first place 🥇Connect Award. Congratulations to all the teams, including our alliance partners who received the Inspire Award!!
We are looking forward to seeing all of the robots at the Regional Competition in February!!

We had a blast today working with and competing in the Northshore Qualifier at Northshore High School! Thank you to our alliance partner Steel Eagles and congratulations to the winning alliance Blue Jays and Nova Pyra Robotics - FTC 25619

We are excited about placing first in the Connect award and are excited to see all the teams at the next qualifier and State!

Thank you Wildcat Robotics WHS for meeting with us this week and showcasing your robot and team! We really learned a lot about building different intake mechanisms and strategies.
And it was great being one of your alliance partners in the qualifiers!!
