It’s Finally Friday. I finally finished and delivered the huge fireplace screen I’ve been working on. Measuring 46” tall X 44” wide it was a fairly big one. The customer gave me their example and after meeting and talking they wanted simple clean lines. They went with a hammered texture and beveled edges. Forged handles, latches, and mortise & tenon feet.

This custom fireplace screen is just about finished. Doors are mounted, feet are done and in place and hoping to have it...

Would you just look at this!!!! She’s coming along. Heat treated in this picture and tempering now. The pattern is peeking thru. Final grinding the bevels this weekend, hand sanding, handle work, and sharping still left to do. Now where did I put that Gator P**s?
