✨ Out with the old, in with the new! ✨

The original sign at Village Garden Shoppe in Mahomet had proudly welcomed visitors for years, but it was getting worn and tired. Plus, with the building’s remodel and elevated aesthetic, it was time for a refresh!

They traded the whimsical, colorful wooden flowers on a large oval for a sleek, three-layer, powder-coated greenhouse in black and gold, suspended from chunky cedar beams designed to complement the posts on the building’s front porch overhang. The result is a fresh, timeless look that feels right at home with the updated space! Thank you to R Unique Creations for taking care of the posts and helping with the install!

Finished up a bunch of smaller welding and plasma table projects last week. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures of them since they were getting picked up about as fast as I could finish them!

I also finished up this set of two-tone wheels. Lots of time goes into these multi-color powder coating projects.

When doing multi-color pieces with powder coat, you don’t use tape very often like you do with traditional paint. You spray one color, bake it in the oven, spray the second color, and then hand-wipe or vacuum the powder off of the areas where the base color needs to be exposed.

It’s a process that takes a steady hand and a ton of attention to detail to ensure a nice, clean look.

Got this customer all squared away with an awesome new accent color for his Cadillac CTS-V

We did the Motion Raceworks valve covers, Whipple Superchargers lid, and the massive 4- and 6-piston Brembo brakes all in Columbia Coatings, LLC Indian Teal.

We also did the “V” logo in matte black powder coat so he didn’t have to worry about decals falling off.

Attention to detail is everything on a job like this and that is what we specialize in!

Just had another customer take advantage of our vehicle drop off service for getting their wheels powder coated.

We helped finish up the blacked out look on this 2022 Audi S7 R by stripping the two tone factory wheels and giving them a perfect gloss black finish.

We try to make this process as simple and convenient as possible for the customer.

Didn’t have a ton of time to spend in the shop this week, but got a few more projects knocked out.

-Custom replacement grille for a dump truck that we made from a customer provided template.

-Really clean looking double sided hanging sign

-Couple signs for a new residential housing project in Champaign.

-Restored this really cool old bell that has a lot of sentimental value to this customer and his family.

Had the opportunity to work with Midwest AutoSkins getting these wheels powder coated in a black metallic to match the wrap they did on the top half of this Buick. We even broke the center caps all the way down to make sure they matched as well.
Noah and his crew at Midwest AutoSkins gave this SUV a bunch of other custom touches to make sure it was exactly what the owner was looking for.
