We’ve seen good progress in recent weeks on the new, 9,000-square-foot building for Seal Stone Properties LLC in Kechi.

Much of the exterior finish on the front of the building and exterior concrete has been completed. However, some work still remains.

Work continues on the inside of the building as well, with flooring installation and final painting among the projects nearing completion.

The project started ramping up in January as the site was prepared for the building. The concrete pad was poured in early February. The building was then erected, sheeted and roofed in the weeks that followed.

We've passed the six-month mark since work started on the St. Rose Mt. Vernon Building Project to construct a discipleship center for the church.

Much has changed since February.

The old St. Rose school has come down. Undergound utilities have been installed for the new structure. Hundreds of yards of concrete has been poured. Heating and air conditioning equipment has been installed.

The building structure continues to take shape. Interior and exterior finishing is underway.

We are eager to see the continued progress in the months ahead as construction moves toward completion.

Construction is progressing on the Goddard City Center development near 183rd Street West and Kellogg.

The first of two 24,000-square-foot buildings is nearing completion as crews work to finish installing its roof. Construction on the second building is expected to begin in the next couple of weeks. The concrete pad for the second building was poured earlier in July. Additional site preparation is taking place as well.

These two buildings make up the first phase of a larger development project to create a business park in on the east end of Goddard, a city that is in the midst of a period of rapid growth.

Did you know re-roof solutions for commercial buildings are part of the services Evans offers in the Wichita area?

Work recently wrapped up on a large re-roof project for a Cox Machine building on West 21st Street. Crews incorporated a high-profile, metal-over-metal roof system that allowed new panels to be installed over the top of existing roof panels. An 8” thick layer of insulation was added between the metal layers for added energy efficiency. New skylights were installed once the new metal sheets were in place.
