For Valentine’s Day, we’re spreading love and hope for our patients and the recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB) community.

Meet Erika Slifer, a 32-year-old wife, mother and clinical psychologist. Erika and her husband, Ted, welcomed their daughter, Penelope, in 2023. In addition to motherhood, Erika is a clinical psychologist who works part time as a post-doctoral resident therapist, after earning her Doctor of Psychology degree in clinical psychology.
