Temps broke 40° today which means we’re starting to think about all of the exterior projects we have coming up!

This deck from last summer features decking (Soiced Rum and Toasted Sand) with a black aluminum , a 2-piece border, and a flawlessly executed staircase with the matching stringer, riser, and tread.

The holidays may be over, but we’re taking a look back at this project we wrapped up in December (festively styled for photo day!).

This living room was part of a much larger scope (we’ll be sharing the other spaces soon!), and it was truly a contractor–client collaboration from start to finish. The goal wasn’t a full gut renovation, but a thoughtful refresh that respected the bones of the space. By working with original elements like the fireplace and exposed beams, we were able to completely transform the feel of the room — just take a look at the before and after pictures.

Scroll through to see everything that went into bringing this space to life - the firewood nook might be our favorite part. Oh, and those bench tops lift up for extra storage too!

Who needs to feel their fingers when you’re installing a whole house of windows?! Installing Essential all-fiberglass windows with white interiors and black exteriors to give this home a fresh, modern upgrade.
 Conditions were far from ideal the last few days, but this team met the challenge head on. Together, we…
• Removed all siding and windows on the great room’s north wall • Re-framed the top row, squaring everything off • Addressed rotted sheathing and studs with visible water damage inside and out • Installed all new windows — making sure every unit was not only level and square, but perfectly plumb across the entire wall • Taped every fl**ge with ProtectoWrap Super Stick flashing tape, corners with Zip Stretch, then fully wrapped the wall in Tyvek and taped all seams • Installed a one-piece pre-made kick-out flashing to prevent water from dumping onto the window near the bump-out roofline • Foamed all windows with OSI Door & Window foam

Headlamps came out at the end of the day—but they got it done and wrapped up with a proper DeBlois-style clean up. Huge shoutout to Darrin, Aaron, Nick, and Alex — Tim set the challenge, and the crew crushed it.

And a special thanks to our secret weapons: Viking Clamps, Grabo suction cups, and Milwaukee laser levels.

We’ve got some new faces to introduce — and they’re bringing some mega talent to the team.

Meet Claire, our HR Specialist and Office Administrator. She’s the first friendly voice you’ll hear when you reach out about a project, and she’s already become an incredible support to our growing team. Her impact has been immediate, and she’ll play a major role in our team’s continued development.

Meet Nick, who recently made the jump into the construction world. He brings years of transferable experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to jump in wherever he’s needed. We’re excited to watch him grow — he has so much potential!

And say hello to Darrin, one of the most talented carpenters we’ve ever worked with. Specializing in exterior work — siding, windows, and more — he’s a true master of his craft and an incredible mentor to our younger team members.
