🚧 Warehouse Expansion Update! 🚧

We’re excited to share that our building expansion is moving along at a nice, steady pace, even through the Spring rains! Thanks to the hard work and coordination of our teams and partners, the structure is now almost completely enclosed.

At OVM we’re proud to support the next generation of skilled trades professionals. This year, we’re celebrating nine outstanding students who have spent their time learning, growing, and building their futures alongside our team. 🎓

From our Tool Room to Maintenance and Robotic Welding, these students have gained real-world experience working hands-on with advanced equipment, problem-solving alongside seasoned professionals, and contributing to meaningful projects that keep our operations running strong.

Several of these graduates will be continuing their journeys with us in full-time roles, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what they accomplish next!

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of their story and proud to play a role in strengthening the future of manufacturing.

A Day in the Life of... A Rework Supervisor!

This week we had the opportunity to catch up with Zach McCready who works as a Rework Supervisor here at OVM.

Zach has worked for OVM for nearly 4 years now. His favorite thing about his job is “the way I feel at home here, like I have a place to show up and get some good hard work done.”

We asked Zach what things prepared him for the work he does... his response was: “strong communication is key. Communication between supervisors, managers, and team members plays a huge role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.”

In his day-to-day role, Zach keeps things moving behind the scenes. He spends much of his time operating a tow motor and overseeing three team members who are constantly reworking or repacking parts. He also assists with retrieving fallen parts or baskets in the warehouse, helps manage inventory, and supports the shipping department however needed, whether that means fixing a lift or tag so it can ship out, or tracking down missing parts.

Check out this Press in full flow... where our scrap metal drops safely, cleanly and consistently straight into the scrap container.

From there, the material is collected, transported by our contracted partner, and taken to be sorted and reprocessed into new metal.
