Someone once told me they despise Colonial-style homes… this one might change their mind.

Classic, clean, and full of character. There’s a reason this style has stuck around.

Follow along for the finished home!

Small details during construction make a big difference.

Adding temporary lighting throughout the basement gives our trades a well-lit workspace so they can see what they’re doing, catch issues early, and get the work done right the first time.

Better working conditions → better craftsmanship → fewer mistakes.

It’s a simple step, but it helps keep the entire build moving the right direction.

Plans can look perfect on paper—and feel completely different in real life.

That’s why, before we build, we can help you walk through similar spaces and verify room sizes, ceiling heights, layouts, and overall scale.

It’s one more way to make confident decisions before they become expensive changes in the field.

Verify it before you build it.

Why do we build spec homes?

There are a few reasons.

1. Not every family has time to wait for a full custom build.
Building from scratch takes time, decisions, and a lot of coordination. A spec home gives buyers the chance to get a high-quality home without going through the entire custom process.

2. It shows people how we build.
A spec home becomes a real-life example of our craftsmanship, design style, finishes, and attention to detail.

3. It keeps our process consistent.
It allows our team, trades, and systems to stay moving — which helps us build better, more efficiently, and with a higher standard.

A spec home isn’t just a house we build to sell.

It’s a reflection of how we build.

Not every lot is worth building on.
When we’re looking at a piece of land, there are three things we pay close attention to before anything else:
1. Location
Where it sits matters. Schools, access, neighborhood, surrounding homes, future growth, and resale value all play a role.
2. The vibe of the lot
Some properties just have something special. Privacy, views, open space, or a setting that makes the home feel more intentional.
3. Topography
The slope and shape of the land can completely change the design, budget, driveway, drainage, basement layout, retaining walls, and overall buildability.
A good lot doesn’t just hold a home.
It shapes the home.

Before we order windows, these decisions need to be locked in:

Color
Manufacture
Materials
Window style
Grid style
Grid layout

Windows have a major impact on the look of a home, both inside and out. Changing them later can create delays, added cost, and design issues.

Good planning upfront protects the budget, the schedule, and the finished look.
