A decorated Marine veteran and missionary fatally shot during a failed Facebook Marketplace meetup used his final moments to describe his attackers to 911 and send a heartfelt message to loved ones.

Michael Ryan Burke had planned a Facebook Marketplace meetup to sell his iPhone 15 Pro when he was targeted by the murderous thieves.

I’m a visionary woman… and my flesh hates homemaking.

Getting up to the same thing every day...
Looking at the same scenery.
Doing the same things over and over again.
That is not exactly ideal for someone wired to dream, build, and think big 🙂

And yet—this is what God has called me to in this season. So I’m learning to do it with His help and faithfully, not waiting for it to feel glamorous or inspiring.

The Christian life isn’t about being flashy or impressive. It’s about faithfulness. It’s about longing to hear one day:

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21) ✨

Maybe God hasn’t called us to what looks impressive to the world. Maybe He’s called us to quiet obedience, unseen service, and daily surrender.

Tonight, I’m vacuuming the stairs at 8:45 pm 🧹
Definitely not glamorous 🙂
Definitely not visionary.
But it is worship.

Because when I serve my family, I’m ultimately serving the Lord—my Father in heaven who sees, knows, and delights in obedience even when my flesh resists.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” (Colossians 3:23) 🤍

So I choose joy. I choose faithfulness. I choose obedience—trusting that no act of service done unto Him is ever wasted.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good…” (Galatians 6:9) 🌱

Faithful in the ordinary. Seen by God. And that is enough. 🙏✨

“Your sister is crazy.”
That’s what a coworker told my brother when he shared that I was pregnant with our 11th baby.

Crazy? 🤔
The dictionary defines “crazy” as foolish, senseless, or strange.

And honestly, the world does see having children that way.

But God doesn’t. 🙅‍♀️✨

In a culture where God’s design for family, gender, and life is constantly challenged, people often call biblical living “strange.” But Scripture reminds us exactly where truth stands:

📖 “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.” — Isaiah 5:20

Hmmm....

I do think the world views having lots of children as crazy.

What does the world view as NOT crazy?

👉A man marrying a man?

👉A girl wanting to be a boy?

👉The public school system requiring our children to call a person who is clearly a boy a girl?

👉A woman dressed as a man and acting like a man but then giving birth?

👉Thousands of women murdering their babies in their wombs?

Those things are crazy.

Don't let the world tell you having children is crazy. God says they're a gift and as Christians we have to proclaim that from the rooftops. In a world that proclaims crazy is normal and normal is crazy, make sure you stand your ground.

The world may normalize things that go against God’s Word, but children are never the crazy thing.

👶 Children are a gift.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A blessing.
🎁 A heritage from the Lord.

📖 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” — Psalm 127:3

👉Ya know what? The Bible does describe us as strangers and exiles on this earth (Hebrews 11:13).

We should stand out.

We should be a little odd.

We don't belong here.

We shouldn't fit in.

This isn't our home and this world doesn't want to run according to our Maker's design.

Mamas of big families — don’t be ashamed. ❤️
Mamas who want big families — you’re not crazy.

We live in a world that often calls God’s ways foolish and foolish ways wise. But as Christians, we must lovingly and boldly stand our ground.

Our children are growing up in spiritually hostile territory, and they need us to teach them:
📖 what God says,
💬 why it matters,
🛡️ and how to stand firm in truth.

Let’s raise them with courage, clarity, and conviction.
Let’s proclaim from the rooftops what God calls good. 🙌✨

HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!!
Ace Home Building & Construction is honored to join Veterans Day Celebration and congratulates All Veterans on their day for their courage, strength and strong love for this land, the United States of America. Thank you for your Service and for defending this soil from our enemies!!

We also want to dedicate a beautiful Psalm to all of them, so they know that God was always with them while they were facing danger and risking their lives for our country:

Some idiot contractor or homeowner before us installed the gas line for the stove. Now, we have to cut and hole in the sheetrock and get our plumber to move the line inside the wall so our new customer's stove with sit flush with the outside of his base cabinets in a kitchen addition and renovation we are building in Milton, GA with custom quartz countertops, new base and wall cabinets, trim, paint, sink, faucets, and steel I-beam opening up the back 2-story wall of the customer's home.
