Supergro Of Virginia is a chemical company and a 1st Choice Seeds dealer. They have been in business for many years, but this is their second growing season under new management. Manager Seth Umbarger is very excited about the growth the company has seen over these last two seasons, “we’re looking to be the major crop retailer in this area”, he stated.

Located in Marion, Virginia, Supergro is about an hour from all of Virginia’s bordering states. They are in a great location to serve wholesale customers and farmers in West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky. The main thing Supergro wants their customers to know is that they are all farmers too, they understand the importance of getting the job done! “We don’t just clock out at 5:00”, Seth said, “we get the work done when it needs to be done.”

When asked what he likes best about 1st Choice Seeds, Seth immediately mentioned their Seed Specialist, Steve Miller. He feels that Steve is what really sets us apart from the other seed companies in their area. “I like dealing with a rep who is willing to get his hands dirty. When Steve visits, he will dig up corn and provide tips on what we can do to improve. He puts a dollar value on what we should work on, I like that!” Umbarger stated.

It's that time of year to start thinking about suppressing those fall weeds and stockpiling grass to reduce winter feeding needs. Work with Supergro to do it all in one pass. We now have the ability to impregnate granular fertilizer with GrazonNext HL. This amazing technology takes out the worry of drift, proper mixing, equipment ownership and the time it takes to make another pass with different equipment. There are no grazing or haying restrictions for any class of livestock, including lactating dairy cows, horses (including lactating mares) and meat animals prior to slaughter.
