Smith Hafeli is excited about the progress of this facelift to our local Jr. High Gymnasium.

Thanks to a ton of work from our projects team - this renovation will make school events and athletic competitions more enjoyable than ever in the old gymnasium.

Thanks to Unit 2 for the trust they put in us to deliver this project!

Students, athletes and fans will return to a dramatically updated Marion Junior High School east gymnasium this fall as a major renovation project moves forward during summer break.

Another hometown project we're proud to deliver!

Smith Hafeli recently completed a major facility improvement project at Adams School, including replacement of aging windows, drywall restoration, and interior finishes. The upgrades improve comfort, efficiency, security, and the long-term performance of the building for students and staff.

As a Southern Illinois contractor, there is something special about helping improve the schools that serve our community's children. Thank you to Marion Community Unit School District No. 2 for trusting our team with this important work.

Site Superintendent Colten McCree gave them a great overview of the complexities and unique elements of building a structure like this.

Celebrating 10 Years of Smith Hafeli

One of our favorite projects from the past decade was the renovation of Marion City Hall.

This project transformed a historic building in the heart of downtown Marion into a modern space for city government and public service. From the council chambers to the public service counters, every area was designed to serve the community for decades to come.

We’re proud to have played a role in preserving an important landmark while helping create a functional, welcoming space for the people of Marion.

As Smith Hafeli celebrates 10 years, we’ll be sharing some of our favorite projects that helped shape our journey.
