We’re seeing more clients move away from strictly utilitarian looks toward designs that actually have some character. This project is a great example—mixing a deep green standing seam roof with clean vertical siding and enough glass to keep it from feeling like a warehouse.

It’s proof that you can get the durability and speed of a metal building without it being an eyesore. It just takes a little more intentionality in the details.

There is something about seeing the main frames catch the light that never gets old.

At this stage, the possibilities for a project are truly wide open. This skeleton of structural steel represents more than just a job site—it’s the foundation for a client's next big step. Whether this becomes a massive distribution center, an industrial production facility, or a specialized hangar, the clear-span design offers a blank canvas of usable space.

Looking back at 2019 when our team finished up the metal er****on for this Averitt Express site. When you’re managing a high-volume supply chain, the facility has to be designed for smooth flow and quick turnarounds.

Our focus was on the precision of the structural steel and that long canopy to make sure their staging and loading areas were exactly where they needed to be. It’s good to see a project from a few years back still doing its job—keeping trailers loaded and moving through the distribution network.
