🔦 **Employee Spotlight: Whitney**

Whitney is our Project Coordinator at NF Construction and has been with us for 1 year, 1 month (since March 2025).

She brings nearly 20 years of combined experience in project management, construction safety, equipment rentals, accounting, and relationship development. That wide range of experience gives her a strong ability to keep projects organized and running smoothly.

In her role, Whitney supports our Project Managers through every phase of construction. She manages documentation, coordinates meetings, works with subcontractors, and helps improve processes from preconstruction through closeout—including submittals, warranties, and project closeout documentation.

Outside of work, she enjoys home projects, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

We appreciate the organization, consistency, and teamwork she brings to NF Construction every day!

Employee Spotlight: Josh – Senior Project Manager

With 4 years at NF Construction, Josh brings extensive experience in safety, quality control, and leadership—having owned both a steel erecting company and a safety training company, and worked in power plants, refineries, and nuclear facilities across the country.

He’s an OSHA Certified Safety Trainer and a Fort Scott Community College graduate.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys coaching his kids’ sports and (by his own admission 😊) collecting bourbon.

Team Spotlight: Randy Stepanek

Randy came to NF Construction just over a year ago with a diverse 30-year background in IT, Safety Management, Accounting, and HR. Today, he’s channeling that experience into his role as a construction project estimator.

For well over a century, this building has been part of Hillsboro’s story.

Built in 1887, it once served as a hub where people came for supplies, banking, and everyday needs.

Today, after restoration in 2025, it opens a new chapter as an event venue designed to bring people together once again.

NF Construction is proud to have helped restore this historic building and preserve its place in the community of Hillsboro, KS.
