🚀 Big news at TAVIS!🌟

We’re thrilled to announce that Adam Schmaus has officially stepped into the role of President.

What makes this moment special? Adam isn’t just joining the team; he’s been part of the TAVIS team since age 14. From his early internship days supporting our aircraft division to his recent role as VP, he knows every corner of our operation.

Why Adam?
Rooted Experience: He’s lived the work, from process management to product building.
Fresh Perspective: With a degree in Anthropology, he brings a unique social science lens to our engineering world.
Balanced Leadership: He values technical excellence just as much as the people behind it.

As we move forward, we’re honoring the legacy of our founder, John R. Tavis, while driving new growth and, most importantly, building a stronger, more engaged community around what we do.

A huge congratulations to Adam on this well-deserved step! Here’s to the next chapter. 🥂

This weekend we traded transducers for trash bags & it was an absolute blast!

At TAVIS, we believe in showing up for our community & we were excited to have another opportunity to do so! In total our community collected 994 pounds of trash. Thank you to yosemiteclimbingassociation for hosting this event & thank you to Ken Yager for saving us from carrying our trash all the way back uphill! 🤩
