You know things are serious in oil & gas when you install a device whose job is to 𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

This is an Axess Corrosion probe connected to a SignalFire 𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥 wireless node.

The metal element inside is intentionally sacrificed so operators can see what’s happening inside the pipeline without opening it.

Because chemical injection programs often work like this:

“Turn the pump up a little.”
“Maybe a little more…”
“Let’s not be the company that ends up in a PHMSA report.”

The problem:

Not enough inhibitor → pipeline corrosion
Too much inhibitor → your chemical budget needs therapy
Now the corrosion rate is transmitted remotely in real time.

If the probe corrodes → increase injection.
If it doesn’t → back off the chemicals and save money.

So yes…
We’re literally watching rust over the air.

Our first SignalFire University is officially under way!

We’ve welcomed a great group into our office this week for immersive, hands-on training with our wireless telemetry solutions - everything from configuration at the bench to real-world troubleshooting scenarios.

It’s exciting to see so much collaboration, questions, and idea-sharing happening in one room as everyone dives deep into SignalFire technology.
