Finally wrapped up this 4 acre pond build we’ve been working on the past month‼️
Largest pond build to date
🔹grubbed & burned 8 acres of brush
🔸 cored pond dam 25’ wide 450’ long
🔹 over 21 ft of depth in the main pool area
🔸 30’ wide 300’ long spillway
🔹 set erosion mats on spillway inlet
🔸 added a brush pile, 90 tons of rip rap, screenings, and 6 inch surge in different areas of the pond for fish habitat
🔹 drill seeded dam slopes and spillway area with Bermuda / rye grass mixture and blew hay for soil stabilization / erosion control

Big thanks to Trenton files & ok dozer for running the K-Tec pan assisting us.

Ponds of this size are far and few between but it sure was nice to see this one come together just as planned.
