Not all careers in the skilled trades look like what you'd expect!

We spent the last two days connecting with students from across the area at Escanaba and Gladstone high school. Career fairs, like these give us a chance to answer questions challenge if you misconceptions and share some of the opportunities in our industry that students might not have considered before.

We recently received some pretty special thank-you letters from students whose class trip to Washington, D.C., we were fortunate enough to help sponsor.

From seeing monuments and museums to navigating the subway and making memories with classmates, these kids experienced things they'll remember for a long, long time.

But our favorite part? Knowing our support helped make sure more students could be part of it.

Investing in our community means investing in the people who make it what it is. Sometimes, that looks like helping a kid see a little more of the world.

Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. We're so glad we could play a small part in them!

We had a great time at the nmu_construction_management Career Fair connecting with students, talking trades, and sharing what a path in our industry can look like.

There's a lot of talent coming out of NMU and we'd love to see some of it land here!
