The 2026 Marquette Builders Exchange was a great time at Ore Dock Brewing Co.! Current MBE President and Closner Project Manager Bryce White’s speech was fantastic and our newest a Closner Office Administrator Alison Neumann won a gift basket full of local coffee and goodies! What a great night!

1st Ever Closner Bowl-A-Rama event was a success🎳! Thank you Superior Entertainment Center for hosting us, we had a great time!
Team 1 took home the trophy this year 🏆!
Team 3 was best dressed 👕!
And Mike Busick had the best single game score with a 209!!

Mike P and Nicole had a great time helping at the NMU Construction Management Women in Construction day! Mike worked with the young ladies on the miter saw making their own tool box and Nicole worked behind the scenes in logistics! Such a fun experience at a well-run event for these students!

This tournament is especially valuable for Upper Peninsula teams, as our weather often limits outdoor practice opportunities early in the season. In addition, the Spring Swing is our club’s largest fundraiser and provides the majority of support for our 100% self-funded program.

"An internship to me is getting my foot in the door to see the job from the workers perspective. It gives you an everyday experience and you see how it changes depending on the jobsite and the overall day to day of how it would be if you were to get hired by them."

-- Joshua Karnack from Ishpeming Public Schools' Ishpeming High School is part of the UP Construction Connect program which means he'll rotate to 3 different contractors throughout the year and get various experiences. His first rotation was with Closner Construction
