I understand the UK has the right to control immigration into its country, but I find it hard to understand and believe the decision was “driven by high asylum claims.”

Based on statistics from the GOV.UK website;

Top 10 nationalities claiming asylum in the UK in the YE December 2025
1. Pakistan ~10,600
2. Eritrea ~8,900
3. Iran ~7,400
4. Afghanistan ~6,400
5. Bangladesh ~6,200
6. Sudan ~5,800
7. India ~5,700
8. Somalia ~4,700
9. Nigeria ~2,900
10. Vietnam ~2,400

Sincerely this appears UNFAIR and it hurts.
I wish the UK government can reconsider this decision.
