We would like to thank the men and women who work for SWEPCO and other utility companies that have worked around the clock since Friday to restore power to East Texas. If you see these guys out there on their travels to say thanks, wave, blow their horn, give them a thumbs up, let them know they are appreciated 👍

Answering the call to duty can be a family affair, even if it's not the Father's Day they planned. 💙

SWEPCO Technical Training Supervisor Brad Brown is working the storm with his son, Texas Troubleman Cameron Brown. Just out of the frame is Cameron‘s father-in-law, Longview, Texas Distribution System Supervisor Scott Bingham. Today, they're working in different areas.

This Father’s Day, more than 2,800 utility professionals like them are here with us instead of with their families. We are grateful to all the crew members who answered the call to help with this historic restoration effort.

We are also grateful to all our customers for their continued patience and support. We know a power outage is never part of your plans. Rest assured our crews are on the job, working to safely clear hazards, rebuild infrastructure, and restore power.

To every dad or father figure out there, thank you for all your contributions and sacrifices you make for those you love.

After 23 years, we are welcoming a New Plant Manager, Wayne Fleming, who brings over 30 years of Forest Products Industry experience to the table. We expect Snider Industries to benefit from the exceptional managerial and technical expertise that Wayne brings to our company.

We're excited about the ease of the transition from 23 years of Jimmy Brewer at the helm, who devoted decades to the growth and success of Snider Industries. He will remain firmly involved with the strategic planning for the operations of the company.
