Howdy all! Haven’t posted in awhile..The project at GSBC is moving right along! We are thankful for the warmer weather for sure! As we move into our interior finish phases in the coming weeks, let us all continue prayers for our workers onsite. Keep them safe! Get them home each day to their families. Let us be mindful of the things we say to each other. Words hurt and don’t leave the mind and heart to easy. I have a lot of things I’d like to say, though just shake my head and go on..
As a business owner we tend to take what’s on our mind and throw it on the tongue to those who have nothing to do with it. Only my opinion. In short, I struggle daily to be the man I need to be. I’m thankful to everyone who has stuck beside me through this adventure!

Have a Happy Easter Everyone!

Happy Saturday! We’ve made great progress at GSBC in the last month. We had 13 working days due to weather and were able to knock out about 90 percent of the structural framing . A big Thanks to my guys on the crew! They are the best for sure! Looking forward to warmer weather!
Blessings

Hello Friends! We’ve been moving right along at GSBC. A lot of progress over the last month or so. We are wrapping up our storm installs , maintaining the erosion control process. Moving forward with curbs next week, followed by electrical conduit for site lighting and some foundation work for the “ New Church Sign” !!!
We are thankful for the project and the church family there. A special shout out to Dave Mills. Best friend a guy could ever ask for and always brings me a sausage biscuit every morning!
Blessings

The progress at GSBC is coming along! We’ve had a few dry days here to begin sanitation installs with our new excavator. The earth work should resume this week with the sun shining! The 5400 yards of build up for the parking lot will be followed by storm, electrical and site concrete over the next two months. Some selective demo left to do as we are moving forward. We’ve uncovered a few abandoned and active lines during the excavations though is to be expected. We are thank ful for the project and looking forward to the future for the folks at the church. Stay safe and stay focused. Blessings.

Another Arbor Day has come and gone. We planted 6 fruit trees over the last week. I miss the kids coming out and planting with us on our little tree farm, though everyone has a busy life these days. A friend of mine told me once, a wise man plants trees he will never sit under for shade…Guess I’ll just be sitting on the porch then. 🙂 Anyway, I’m glad that will be leaving oaks and hickory’s and many species of trees for our children and grand children to enjoy long after we are gone. As they’ve gotten older, I think they understand why we did this for them. I told them many times; When I pass into heaven, make sure I’m cremated and put some of my ashes on the trees next door. Maybe someone will harvest an old oak, make a kitchen table and I’ll never miss a meal.
😊 Happy Sunday!

As we begin the Phase 1 site work for GSBC ; I ask all of my friends to keep us in your prayers as the project moves forward. All of our workers keep steady hands and all eyes focused on what really matters. God and Family! We are building a future for those little hands and feet that watch our every move. So when we raise our hard hats and give thanks to our Savior for all he gives and allows us to build through his grace, with this building and all that’s in it, belongs to God! Have a blessed spring.
