🔧❄️ Another Comfort Upgrade Complete! ❄️🔧

Today, just south of Moonshine, we replaced an HVAC system that had been causing some major headaches for the homeowners. Since moving into their home last fall, they had already experienced extremely high propane bills throughout the winter. As temperatures started to warm up this spring, they quickly discovered the cooling side wasn’t performing much better. 😬

After taking a closer look, it was clear the existing system had been pieced together over the years and simply wasn’t capable of delivering the comfort or efficiency the home needed. Rather than continue throwing money at an outdated setup, they chose to invest in a complete comfort solution. 💪

🚨 Another busy day keeping our customers cool! 🚨

Today we completed two emergency air conditioner changeouts — one just outside of Casey and another outside of Oblong. Fortunately, both homes already had newer Rheem furnaces in place, making for a smooth replacement process. In fact, the second home’s furnace was one we installed back in February! 👌

🚨 Another compressor replacement in the books this morning south of Martinsville! 🔧❄️

Today we replaced a failed compressor in an air conditioning system that was only 7 years old. Unfortunately, we’ve seen quite a few of these LG compressors fail prematurely over the years, and we end up replacing many of them under warranty.

The good news? ✅ New compressor installed, system tested, and the customer is back up and running with cold air again! 💨🏠

🚨 Emergency Rooftop Unit Upgrade Completed in Casey at Dairy Queen! 🍦❄️🔥

Today we completed an emergency RTU replacement after the existing unit suffered a major refrigerant leak in both A/C circuits. With the high cost of R22 refrigerant, expensive repair parts, and the unit being 21 years old, replacement was the most cost-effective and reliable solution for the customer.

We installed a brand new Rheem Commercial Rooftop Unit featuring:

✅ 20-year commercial stainless steel heat exchanger warranty
✅ 10-year parts warranty
✅ Backed by our 2-year commercial labor warranty

🔥 Another major upgrade completed in Charleston! 🔥

Today we finished up a complete duct system replacement and added central air conditioning to an existing furnace system. 🛠️❄️

The old ductwork had been chopped together and patched so many times that there was really only one proper solution — give it the Remlinger special and start fresh. 💪

To make matters worse, the furnace had no true return air duct system before and drawing out of a room with other gas appliances… just a 1” filter sitting on top of the furnace. 😳

We completely redesigned and upgraded the ductwork, installed a Trion AirBear 5” media filtration system 🌬️, and added a brand new Rheem 15.2 SEER 3-stage air conditioner ❄️⚡

The difference in airflow, comfort, efficiency, and indoor air quality will be night and day compared to the old setup. Another clean install done the right way! ✅

Today south of Marshall, we replaced a system that had experienced a failed heat exchanger for the second time. After evaluating the system, the root cause became very clear — the existing furnace was drastically oversized for both the home and the ductwork.

The old system was a 100,000 BTU furnace, but after performing a proper load calculation, the home only required a 70,000 BTU furnace. Not only is the new furnace correctly sized for the home, but it’s also much better matched to the existing duct system.

Oversized equipment can actually create several problems:
• Poor airflow
• Excessive wear and tear on the furnace
• Short cycling
• Uneven comfort throughout the home

A lot of homeowners think “bigger is better,” but that’s rarely the case in HVAC. An oversized furnace heats the air too quickly, satisfies the thermostat too fast, and shuts off before the home itself is properly warmed — leaving you uncomfortable even though the thermostat says otherwise.

We upgraded this customer to a new:

Another quality install completed today in Casey! 🔧❄️🔥

This project included a full attic duct system upgrade after the existing air handler had leaked for so long that the original ductboard trunk was completely saturated with water. We removed the damaged system and installed an all-new Mitsubishi Electric heat pump system along with a brand-new duct system designed for long-term performance and efficiency.
