First fire in the fireplace we finally were able to finish in our personal home.

As a family we sometimes make sacrifices on our own projects so we can complete yours. When we designed this house we knew we wanted built ins and stone around the fireplace. A couple of months ago we decided to do some shiplap as well.

Be sure to look through the before and afters of this fun project. All that needs done is a little decorating.

The before and after of this fireplace have us so excited. 😍😍😍

The customer, who recently moved to East TN from Jackson WY, wanted an elegant rustic feel, and we LOVE how this turned out. Real shiplap on top, a custom made hand huen mantle, beautifully hand crafted steel braces, and their choice of rustic stone. It's not quite finished, still needs paint, but we couldn't wait to share this project with you.

Doing a little work on our own home today...

Thank you, Anderson Door Shop, for our amazing, custom built, fiberglass, door.

We get excited about all things design and planning in the home building process. So in love with our new front door. Can't wait to see it painted. ❤

Natural lighting! Is there anything better in your home than all the natural light? Check out these red framed glass doors and this porch.

We love all the windows and doors, we love all the natural light. We encourage you to have them all but keep in mind quality is important. If you don't have a good quality door or window with excellent weather stripping you will make your utility bill higher than you want. Make sure you or your contractor is using a great brand. Make sure they have a warranty. You don't have to choose the most expensive - you do want to choose high quality!
