CAMPBELL'S PAINTING and MORE is a fully insured state licensed General Contractor in Maryville, TN seeking:

LABORER / Handyperson – must have basic understanding of construction materials & tools; able to lift 50 lbs.; valid driver’s license & good driving record; MUST HAVE dependable truck (prefer 4WD); able to pull & back-up trailer with material/equipment; organize materials, tools & supplies; able to provide maintenance on gas powered tools; job site clean-up; Also have the desire to learn other trades/skills in residential construction.
This position earns a competitive wage of $15.00-$20.00 per hour. There is never a cap on your rate of pay. When we grow, YOU grow!

PAY IS BASED on trust, experience, skills, truck and tools!!

4 day work week (Mon-Thurs @ 10hrs/day)
Company shirts
Weekly Direct Deposit for payroll
Fuel reimbursement
Paid holidays after 6 months

A little two-part Epoxy job on a garage floor. Wow, what a difference! But man it is a killer on a bad neck and back! I do love the new look though, I think I’ll have a happy home owner!

REMINDER: Just a friendly reminder that its that time of year to unhook your water hoses, close crawl space vents and cover outside spigots or you’ll wish you had listened as you write the check to a plumber 😕

It’s that time again!

I saw this and it sure hits “home”! People honestly have no idea as to what goes into running a small business but here is some great insight. Be kind to each other and remember we are all still just people trying to do the best we can.

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends will expect discounts on everything and value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance. You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend...

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially this past year.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient….. and hopefully more of us will stick around!

Little before and after pressure washing! Night and day difference and was able to save the indoor/outdoor carpet for a few more years

I sure wish I had gotten some “before” pictures! The change is unbelievable! This was a remodel of 2 bedrooms, hallway, living room, and a small guest bath. All new doors, base trim, crown molding, fresh paint, new flooring in every room, new tile tub surround and a sweet little vanity in the bath! Turned out beautiful! And yes, Mike and myself were 💯 “hands on” on this one. Check out the pics 🙂
