Exciting news Fayette 4H Robotics Team will be attending the Greene Co Aviation Day this year on August 15, 2026. It is from 10am till 4:00pm. We will have our Robot on display for the public to see as well as doing a small demonstration. Hope to you there.

Give your child the chance to experience the joy of flight!

Pre-registration is now open for FREE Young Eagles flights during Greene County Airport Wings & Wheels: Aviation Day on Saturday, August 15 in Waynesburg, PA.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., youth ages 8 to 17 can take to the skies with a volunteer pilot from EAA Chapter 842. Each flight lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes, offering an unforgettable introduction to aviation and a bird's-eye view of Greene County.

Before takeoff, pilots will provide a fun pre-flight orientation, explaining the aircraft, answering questions, and helping first-time flyers feel comfortable and excited. Every participating pilot is FAA or Transport Canada certificated, has completed youth protection training, and passed a background check, making safety the top priority.

After the flight, stick around and enjoy everything Greene County Airport Wings & Wheels: Aviation Day has to offer! Tour the historic C-54 "Spirit of Freedom," browse a classic car show, enjoy delicious food, and celebrate a full day dedicated to aviation.
