Knowing your “why” is the first step to getting started. It doesn't matter if you are starting a project at work, embarking on a DIY project at home, or finally getting started on a passion project you have been dreaming about, knowing why you are doing something will help you persevere when times get tough.

Once you know your “why”, it’s time to set a goal. Your main objective should be clear to you so you can work backward from your goal, making smaller and smaller goals as you go. In essence, you are creating a road map to success. It might help to make a list of all the goals or milestones you need to achieve along the way and put them on a timeline. That way you can see what you need to do and when.

Ultimately, this means taking something huge and breaking it into manageable steps. If you are starting on a passion project, for instance, you can break it up into individual chapters, scenes, songs, etc. This will help you feel like you are making progress. It also helps to focus on just one thing at a time so you don't get overwhelmed.

Most importantly, you can achieve anything you set your mind to, so long as you have a plan. Just because the task seems huge, and might take a long time to finish, that doesn’t mean that you can't do it. Break it down, set your sights on the goal, and take your next step.

It’s been a busy but fruitful year so far! We have multiple projects in the works— including Casey’s in Fostoria and a Love’s in New Salisbury. We’re putting the finishing touches on those projects, and we’re excited to kick off some new ones in the coming months. We’ve got a few lined up, including a Love’s in West Jefferson, a Wawa in Springdale, and an A Quik Trip!

Getting these done is going to take lots of hard work, so we can't thank our team members enough. We’re not the only ones who deserve thanks for our success, though. We work with some amazing contractors who contribute a great deal, and our team members work hard, too.

We're very lucky to have everyone we do!

Our wish is to start this year focusing on building new relationships and nurturing the ones we already have.

We also want to take the time to appreciate the great relationships we have. As we work together we accomplish goals that none of us can accomplish alone. We are grateful for the support that you show us and the partnership that we have.
