NATIONAL FORKLIFT SAFETY DAY | SECOND TUESDAY IN JUNE
The second Tuesday in June recognizes National Forklift Safety Day. Today's National Day provides opportunities for manufacturing, warehouses, logistics, and other industries that rely on forklifts to reassess their forklift training and safety guidelines.

Forklifts are an integral part of industry and commerce around the world. The operators who move products from the warehouse to trucks to the loading dock keep goods moving across the country. Without forklift operators, much of the work needed to move pallets of parts, finished products, and food would be time-consuming and extremely dangerous. Luckily, forklifts do the heavy lifting. But with that heavy lifting, the importance of using safety becomes paramount.

This year, Memorial Day falls on May 25. It is always observed in America on the last Monday in May, and it is a day to commemorate and remember the men and women who lost their lives while in service for the US military.

It officially became a federal holiday in 1971. Traditionally, people will visit cemeteries and memorials for American soldiers, and there are several parades around the country. On this day, especially, we honor the fallen. Thank you to all of our veterans.
