Wet Tech’s custom buoys, mooring systems and crew successfully moored the VB 10000, the largest lift vessel ever built in the U.S., while it salvaged the capsized M/V Golden Ray for over a year in a high current, high traffic, and an ecologically sensitive river environment.
We fabricated and delivered customized Twelve (12) 16’ diameter steel buoys that support and suspend large aerator units in the USACE McCook reservoir in Chicago, moored with specially coated 4” anchor chain which have successfully provided support since 2017.
Our 50 Ton steel mooring buoys serve as floatation modules for offshore subsea fish cages in Panama and Hawaii designed for the fishing farming industry.
We fabricate specialized buoys and marine systems designed to support military subsurface operations and buoys that monitor meteorological and environmental data in deep ocean and inland waterways.
Since 2019, Wet Tech has held the Prime federal contract for the United States Coast Guard where we transport, repair, outfit and maintain all their steel ocean buoys from the NE Atlantic coast, the Mid-Atlantic, Florida, Entire Gulf Coast and California.
