Continuing the beautiful views along the Ohio River path 🚲 🏃, making updates to parking 🚗, and the historic fountain. ⛲️ We love working on stormwater design and inspections with Ruhlin and Shelly & Sands.. especially when they have perfect river views! 🚤 👏

Our team just returned from an incredible week at the 2026 CWP National Watershed and Stormwater Conference in Charlotte. While the technical sessions provided invaluable insights into emerging water resource threats, the highlight was the field tour of the Little Sugar Creek restoration project.
Seeing this “living classroom” in person was a powerful reminder of how urban stream restoration can balance:
• Water Quality Monitoring: Integrated systems tracking health in real-time.
• Floodplain Restoration: Creating resilient buffers in high-density urban areas.
• Community Connection: Turning stormwater infrastructure into vibrant public greenways.
Huge thanks to the Center for Watershed Protection for organizing such an impactful site visit!

🎉💧 Happy 20th Birthday! 💧🎉

For 20 years, this company has weathered a lot—changing conditions, evolving regulations, and the natural ebb and flow that comes with any long-standing business. Like stormwater itself, Follow the River Environmental has adapted, redirected, and kept moving forward.

We’re building on that strong foundation while expanding the way we serve our clients. Today, we’re proud to be a true one-stop shop for stormwater management—from SWPPP design and E&S installation, to inspections, program management, and supporting the complex needs of MS4s 💪🌧️.

We’ve also grown our field capabilities. Our seeding and mulching operations now include tracked equipment that allows us to work off-road and in challenging terrain, along with hydroseeding and mulching on street scrapes—helping stabilize sites quickly and restore them the right way 🌱🚜.

Twenty years in business is no small feat. We’re incredibly grateful for our team, clients, and partners who carried this company through its early chapters, and we’re excited to help guide it into the next phase—focused on compliance, quality, and protecting the waters we all depend on.
