Happy National Manufacturing Month.

At TransTech Group's McGregor, Texas facility, that progress looks like a new robotic Growing Line that automates one of the most labor-intensive steps in pressure vessel fabrication, fitting, tacking, and internal welding the shell cans that form the body of large pressure vessels.

The process that once took two to three skilled welders roughly 10 labor-hours now takes a single operator about one hour. On its first production vessel, the system is already saving around eight hours per shell can, close to the nine-hour target engineers projected once the operation is fully ramped up.

Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month.

September 15 through October 15 marks the independence days of Mexico, Chile, and several Central American nations, and honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of people whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

At TransTech Group, it's also a chance to recognize something closer to home. The Hispanic and Latino team members who show up every day across our shops, field crews, and leadership ranks shape the culture we're building as much as anyone. When our Metalforms team upgraded its plasma cutting system, they expected faster cuts. What they got was even better: an operator who saw what the machine could really do.

Cutting pass partition plates for heat exchangers once took hours of manual work. Metalforms machine operator Ruben Torres taught himself the new CAD software, using an AI assistant to speed his learning, then worked with the shop's experienced fitters, including his own father, to program their decades-old formula into the system.

Now the plasma table cuts each plate to contour and engraves traceability numbers automatically, a process that once took most of a day, done in a few hours.

It's what happens across TransTech Group companies when new technology meets hands-on experience. Great work, Ruben.
