Chroma Color’s Biggest Loser Contest continues to make a positive impact across all of our facilities! Since launching the program in 2021, more than 420 team members have participated, collectively losing 2,568 lbs over the past five years.

Our most recent 2026 contest included:
• 41 participants
• 435.8 total pounds lost
• 10.63 pounds average lost per person

Additionally, the program offers weekly challenges including walking contests, hydration goals, and healthy recipe sharing.

Congratulations to the Plastics News Rising Stars of 2026

Plastics News has named its Rising Stars of 2026, recognizing 30 industry professionals age 35 and under who are making a meaningful impact and demonstrating strong leadership potential—or who are already leading the way. This year’s class represents a broad spectrum of the plastics industry, from scientists and engineers to founders and executives.

Chroma Color is proud to announce that Zach Zander has been selected as one of the Plastics News Rising Stars of 2026.

Zander joined Chroma Color Corp. in 2024, stepping into one of the most technically demanding segments of the plastics industry: color concentrates.

“Zander is already delivering impact at a level far beyond what is typical for someone early in their career, while also showing the curiosity, discipline and leadership traits that signal long‑term potential,” said Jim Walsh, vice president of technology at Chroma Color, Zander’s boss and mentor.

Zander holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from St. Norbert College in Wisconsin and a doctorate in polymer science from the University of Akron in Ohio.

Chroma Color is thrilled to share the incredible impact of our recent fundraising effort at the Leominster plant. Together, they raised a total of $2,238!

Thanks to the team's effort, they were able to provide holiday meals for 40 families in their community—bringing warmth and joy during this special season.

Because of your contributions, Chroma Color Corporation provided a generous match of $1,000, allowing them to make an additional donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster.

Your support truly made a difference. Thank you for helping them spread cheer and give back to the community they are proud to be part of! 💙

Congratulations to our Biggest Loser Contest Members for 2025! 🎉

We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible efforts of 46 Chroma team members across 11 teams who participated in our recent 8-week Biggest Loser contest. Together, they lost an impressive 279.20 lbs—that’s an average of 6.07 lbs per person!

🏆Winning Teams (based on % weight lost):
1st Place: Bobby, Melissa, and Mallory – 6.72% weight loss
2nd Place: Eric, Sade, Clarena, and Don – 5.54% weight loss
3rd Place: Jay, Chalina, and Allison – 4.82% weight loss

A huge thank you to all 46 participants for your enthusiasm and commitment to wellness. Your energy and engagement made this contest a success!
