G2 Petroleum, LLC is a privately held oil & gas company whose main focus is development drilling of conventional vertical wells primarily in shallow oil sands of North Texas. These wells are still online producing oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. G2 proceeded to acquire royalty and mineral acreage across the top shale developments in the United States. As a result, they hold various inter
est positions across over 60,000 acres in the Bakken , Eagle Ford and Barnett Shales. With proven success, the pursuit of progress continued, as interest in 20-2,000′ producing oil wells in Wichita Falls, Texas were acquired. Working with operating partners in this area enabled the stimulation and stabilization of production through various treatments and reworks. In 2013, G2 negotiated a sell of our interest in this property to a publicly traded oil company. Along with industry and private partners, G2 ventured onto the Appalachian Basin. Utilization of all cutting-edge technology proved these areas of Tennessee and Kentucky futile in regards to oil production. Despite this discovery, the group was able to tap one outstanding well; the Burtis Threet. This well is the 6th most productive well in Tennessee oil history. The adventure next led to Colorado with participation in the DJ Basin, located in the prolific Wattenberg Field. This resulted in acquisition of royalty interest in over 1,000 wells. A strong alliance with some of the larger royalty and mineral companies in Colorado resulted in the acquisition of core acreage and royalty interest in over 1,000 wells.
