Kent has been a design build contractor since 1993, where he primarily constructed pre-engineered metal buildings for coin laundry and dry-cleanin
g facilities throughout the Midwest. We built over 60 facilities ranging from Nashville, TN and Dubuque, IA. When the industry slowed in the mid 2000's, Kent and Rich re-unite and formed Illinois Valley Construction, LLC. Our commitment was to serve the central Illinois sector and customers within 200 miles. This would allow us to be with our families. We have concentrated on the commercial sector and picked up the American Building Company pre-engineered steel building dealership in our area. We have continually evolved, broadening the scope of the services we provide to better meet the needs of our customers. Illinois Valley Construction is proud to offer many of its own craftsmen on your project. We feel that building your project is the best way to keep your costs down and maintain construction flow and integrity. On your project, our craftsmen will be excavating, pouring your concrete and installing all your rough and finish carpentry - everything a quality building requires. Illinois Valley Construction will also design and build you a new home. Together we have 70 years combined experience in residential construction, including framing, rough and finish carpentry. We also offer all aspects of remodeling, both residential and commercial.
