So we love doing different types of jobs. This one happen to be at the almost 125 year old Avalon Theater in Larimore ND. They needed a new stage. I have to admit. I've always loved this little town. The people are great and the town is alive and well. And if you know North Dakota, then you know little towns don't always last. I've had the privilege of being able to work on several projects in this town, including the lovely Victorian from a few years past. I am thrilled to have been able to bring back this old stage so it may have many more years of entertainment to come. Until next time Larimore. It's always a pleasure.

I don't have as many before photos of this one, but you get the picture. This one needed a major face lift. But, as you can see, it's came back to life! It got a new roof, new fascia, woodwork, and a new paint job. The customer loves it and I think we did pretty good on this one.

Some good friends of mine had a deck problem that needed to be remedied. This one had seen its day..
Well, we got them figured out and on to a whole new one. To be honest, this was only my second composite deck, I've ever built. It was a challenge and I definitely learned some things. Even after as many years as I've been in this, you still are always learning. I hope they enjoy it for years to come.

Ok..this one has a little bit of a story.
We took over this one from a "contractor" who just left a mess. Too much to list was wrong. And I'm not one for publicly bashing someone's work, but I would never hire this person. Ever. The homeowner found out about us from a referral. (Always the best way to go. ) When we arrived last winter, we had our hands full so to speak. But not as much as the homeowner themselves. This person is not only one of the most soft spoken, kindhearted person you'll ever meet, but they also have been through a hell most don't want to imagine, in the last 5 years. All the while, this person kept a smile on their face and dignity in their heart. She is one of my most favorite customers to date. I am very happy to have been able to complete her custom pole barn to her liking. In the end, the customer is happy. That's what matters. I hope she enjoys it for many years to come.

It may not have been the very day Jesus was born, but it is the day the whole world gives thanks for His birth. Thanks you Lord for your choice to come here and give us a way out of darkness. Thank you for your life for mine. Merry Christmas everyone. ❤️🙂
