👋 We’re excited to welcome Aahuti Chaudhary to AEG!

Aahuti joins us with a strong foundation in civil and structural engineering, backed by hands-on experience preparing AutoCAD drawings, reviewing construction documents, and performing quantity takeoffs for concrete and construction materials. She has also conducted laboratory testing of aggregates and construction materials and supported design coordination and technical documentation across projects.

Aahuti will serve as a Civil/Structural Designer, supporting design development, construction documentation, and coordination to deliver accurate and efficient project solutions.

Over the past six years, Kyle has contributed to a wide range of projects, supporting clients including PennDOT, the City of Philadelphia, SEPTA, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and others throughout the Mid-Atlantic. His strong work ethic and growing technical expertise have made him a key member of our survey team.

Richard brings extensive experience in land surveying, field operations, and data collection, supporting topographic and boundary surveys, construction stakeouts, and scanning efforts for a variety of clients.

Based in our Phoenixville office, Richard will serve as a Survey Party Chief, leading field crews, coordinating survey activities, and helping deliver accurate, high-quality data to support AEG’s projects with precision and efficiency.

Building more than bridges: helping build the next generation of engineers. 👷‍♂️

This week, Jonathan Relyea welcomed a group of high school students to the SR 33 Bridges project for a field visit, giving them a firsthand look at civil engineering in action. From observing construction progress to learning about the coordination and technical expertise behind major infrastructure work, these students gained a real-world perspective you just can’t replicate in a classroom.

Experiences like this are an important way to spark interest in STEM careers and show future engineers the impact they can make in their communities.

Design work on the 59th Street Bridge Replacement Project in Philadelphia, a critical urban crossing over active Amtrak and SEPTA rail lines, is wrapping up. As a subconsultant to GFT, AEG supported the preliminary and final design with surveying, geotechnical engineering, Right-of-Way support, and E&S plans, and will continue to support construction through consultation and shop drawing reviews.
