This is a well I was on recently that had salted in just under 20 ft from original depth. As you can see, there are little critters (biologicals), down 500 ft. I did a shock chlorination, and flush on this well, as well as the holding tank to combat these little guys.
Customer had a purity test come back with coloform bacteria (surprise, surprise). We installed sediment and Ultraviolet (UV) filtration afterwards. We have had clean tests for the 8 years this system has been in.
