The big question this morning at the : where is the glass industry today and where is it headed next?

Max Perilstein is breaking down the state of the market, exploring demand trends and where opportunity is emerging as we move into 2026 and beyond—especially across the Philadelphia and New Jersey region. The discussion highlighted key indicators, including The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Consensus Forecast, Dodge Momentum Index (DMI), and Architecture Billings Index® (ABI).

Global conditions have introduced a level of uncertainty, contributing to project delays—70% of which are tied to the current economic environment. Still, looking ahead to 2027, Perilstein noted that Philadelphia and New Jersey are expected to see stable growth, with projections of 2–4% and 3–5% growth, respectively.

“Stable markets are good markets for us, and that’s what we want,” says Perilstein.
