This 12’ round weldment was built entirely in our fabrication shop and has now shipped to the customer on an oversize-load truck.

The finished turn table will be used for X-ray inspection and industrial radiography applications. Completing this project brought together several of our in-house capabilities, including tube and flat laser cutting, welding, machining, painting, and final assembly.

Much of our fabrication work happens behind the scenes, so we’re excited to share a closer look at this one. We’re proud to contribute to projects supporting important, highly specialized work.

Quality control is no joke when it comes to custom fabricated parts.

Our Keyence 3D scanner allows us to scan finished products and compare them directly to the original drawings. Every hole, weld, surface, and critical feature can be inspected for accuracy.

Summer at PSI brought plenty of sunshine, heat, and safety training.

Across June, July, and August, our team covered forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift safety and awareness, along with lockout/tagout, confined spaces, ladder safety, slips, trips, and falls, and back safety.

As part of our lift safety training, team members completed classroom testing and demonstrated safe operation before receiving certification.

There is something rewarding about seeing experience turn into a new idea.

A conversation about past challenges can lead to a different approach and a thoughtful design. Then, piece by piece, that idea begins taking shape on our shop floor until it becomes a finished piece of equipment with a practical purpose.

Seeing this process come together time and time again is a feeling that never gets old.

We recently had our May Safety Training Sessions, followed by an employee lunch for our much-appreciated crew.

This month’s safety topics included Laser Safety, Heat Stress (because Minnesota skipped spring and went straight to summer), and Hearing Conservation. After training, the team enjoyed burritos and burrito bowls from Burrito Corner right here in Medina.

We’re celebrating, reminiscing, and honoring a 31-Year Legacy.

In the last month, we tore down the old and assembled the new for one of our long-standing production customers.

Our 1995 Two Pass Interior Door Sizer produced 87 MILLION doors before it was retired. Its replacement is prepared to carry that legacy forward.

We are driven to make things better and build them to last.

We build the entire machine in-house from the smallest chain link piece all the way up to the full machine base.

It is then assembled and tested to make sure every part if functioning properly.
