Hate spending money on tooling. But sometimes it’s on cool tools. Just bought this 3 point blind hole bore gage. Now I feel a little more comfortable counterboring seat insert pockets with fixed cutters and knowing the exact press fit. Or when warming an aluminum head to aid in seat insert installation.

Here is a cool little 4AGE Toyota block for a customers open wheel race car. The block has had a steel deck riser added to the deck surface and new sleeves installed to make it a tall deck. Came in to my shop for a bore/hone and deck surface. Crazy what some people come up with.

Quick and easy dowel pin removal. Many ways to do it but this is what I’ve found to be the simplest and quickest way to do it without damaging the dowel pin. Hope this can help someone.
