Francisco Silva is a translational leader with two decades of entrepreneurial and clinical-development experience in cell- and biologic-based therapeutics. As VP of Research at , he has led IND-enabling programs, secured fast-track designation, and served as principal investigator for multiple Phase II addressing degenerative disc disease.
Francisco has built and scaled cGMP manufacturing and QMS systems, forged successful collaborative research partnerships with Pfizer, UPenn, the University of Miami, and others, and holds multiple international patents in regenerative medicine, brown adipose–derived technologies, and 3D cell constructs. His peer-reviewed work spans metabolic, cardiac, and spinal applications, and he serves as Section Editor for the Regenerative Medicine section of the Journal of Translational Medicine.
Francisco combines hands-on scientific expertise with commercial strategy to advance next-generation and from bench to bedside.
