Want to reduce your energy expenses? Here are a couple of energy-saving practices you might want to begin to help reduce your energy bill:

Seal air leaks: Air leaking around doors, windows, and other areas of the home can result in energy waste. Use weatherstripping or caulking to seal up any air leaks that are in your home.

Use a programmable thermostat: You can save up to 10% on your annual energy bill when you set your thermostat to auto-adjust the temperature during evening hours or when you're out of the house.

By incorporating these habits, you can help reduce your energy bill. Curious about these or other energy-saving tips? Need assistance with your heating or cooling system? Contact us today, our team is ready to help with all your HVAC needs!

Woo-wee, it’s going to be so hot the next couple of days!
Here are some tips and things you may not know.
Turning your thermostat down does not make it blow colder or change the temperature faster. It makes it run longer, which is not good for your system.
Set your thermostat to 74°F or higher during this heat wave and leave it alone.
Air conditioners are generally designed to create a 20-degree temperature drop between the air going into the system and the air coming out of your vents.
If the temperature in your house is 85°F or less during extreme heat, the system is working at its max capacity but could use some help.
Change your filter! And rinse your outdoor condenser with light pressure from your water hose.
Cover your windows with curtains or even blankets to help keep cool air in and warm air out.
Try not to use heat-generating appliances like the dryer or oven during the day.
If your system is not working, TURN IT OFF and give us a call.

Go change your filter! Yes, right now. Even if you changed it last month.
Lovingly, your favorite heat and air team.

Regular maintenance is not only essential for keeping your heating and cooling system in working order but it's also required to keep these systems in warranty!

Some of the benefits of regular HVAC maintenance include…
Higher Efficiency — Dirty or malfunctioning systems won't be efficient. An efficient system is better for your wallet AND the environment.

Better Air Quality — A clean unit can reduce respiratory issues for you and your family.

Longer Lifespan – Properly maintained units can last around 10 to 15 years. If maintenance is ignored, you may have to buy a new system sooner.

Lower Monthly Bills – Regular maintenance can help keep your system running efficiently and your monthly energy bills in check.
