Looking for a certified Boom Truck crane operator. Job would consist of operating the crane, some ground work related to roofing, operating a Skytrak or forklift. Some roof/ground work when crane not needed.

This is a travel based position, we cover 500+ miles from Southeast MO.

Meals and motels paid, travel pay.

• Must be able to travel with overnight stay for multiple days
• Duties revolve around roof related installations or repairs pertaining to commercial and industrial structures.
• Responsible for assisting in removing existing roof materials before making roof repairs and applying new membrane coverings and /or sheet metal components.
• Assist during equipment and material unloading process. Including carrying tools and materials up the ladder to the work area.
• Working as part of a team under the direction of a superintendent, foreman, or manager.
• Render support in the installation of sheet metal and roof systems
• Apply an understanding of safety as it applies to the roofing trade
• Clean work area and equipment, set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roof area
• Assist in preparing roof for the application of new roofing materials and sheet metal components
• Maintain tools and equipment pre and after work
• Set up safety-related equipment to protect the project site
• Safely climb a ladder frequently to supply materials.
• 401K after 1-year and Health Insurance Option (60 days first of month)

• High School diploma, equivalent, or above required. Bachelor of Science Marketing Degree or equivalent preferred
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Communication is Key! Open communication between Sales Manager and Client, communication between Sales Manager and Division Manager, communication between Sales Managers, Sales Manager and Estimators.
• Service existing Clients by contact on a regular basis, as needed (visits, email, phone call, etc.).
• Look at upcoming projects for new Clients and existing Clients via pre-bids and/or site inspections.
• Obtain all necessary information needed for Estimators to evaluate and quantify Client’s project (i.e. scope of work, drawings, measurements, cores, pictures, etc.)
• Present the project to the Client in a manner that is appropriate and tailored to the needs/wants of the Client (i.e. PowerPoint, face-to face presentation, email, product samples, etc.)
• Follow up with Client bids/proposals in a timely manner to answer any questions client may have or discuss alternative options.
• Must live or be willing to relocate with 40 minutes of South Memphis, TN
• Vehicle furnished by Company

• Assist Sheetmetal Foreman detailing sheet metal
• Operate a computer sheet metal brake and shears
• Fabricate, install, and assemble products and systems made from sheet metal. Measure, cut, and weld sheet metal components according to specifications, blueprints, or directions. Connect/secure sheet metal seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or fasteners.
• Responsible for assisting in removing existing sheet metal materials before making repairs and installation of new sheet metal materials and components.
• Assist during equipment and material unloading process. Including carrying tools and materials up the ladder to the work area.
• Drive work vehicles, equipment, and materials to the worksite.
• Working as part of a team under the direction of a superintendent, foreman, or manager.
• Apply an understanding of safety as it applies to the sheet metal component of the roofing trade
• Clean work area and equipment, set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roofs
• Maintain tools and equipment pre and after work
