Keeler Day at Keeler Iron Works! Clay, Will, and Rob were honored by the incredible people at work today! They were presented with a framed photo of their parents, George and Louise Keeler ( started Keeler Iron in 1961), and with a framed hand drawn blueprint by George Keeler.

It is with great sadness that Keeler Iron Works announces the passing of long time employee Jim Tomasik. We lost a valuable coworker, team member and friend on Monday January 25th.. Jim was our head steel detailer as well as our Quality Control Manager.

When he saw a need, Jim was always willing to lend a hand both in the office our in the shop as well. He would help organize our storage of materials, supervise truck loading during peak periods and take on estimating and project managing when needed.

Jim worked as a steel detailer for many years as well as running his own steel fabrication and er****on company before joining us. His variety of skills were a great asset for us.
At Jim’s suggestion we hired his son to be trained as a steel modeler and detailer with Jim as his supervisor and trainer. Danny quickly learned the software and the ins and outs of steel detailing.
We will all miss Jim and try to carry on with his “can-do” spirt.

University of Memphis land bridge project. We fabricated the long span beams and the tower caps. Beams are 85' and 75' long with bolted splice. Tower caps are about 30' tall but look small in this picture. Thanks to Steel Fab Inc of Jackson Tn for the work.
