We have realized we have yet to do a meet the owner. So here it is!

Meet the owner/builder!

Jacob was born and raised in Memphis Missouri. He has worked in the construction industry since he was in high school. Jacob lives in Memphis with his wife (and high school sweetheart) Katelyn and their two sons Ryder and Wyatt.
Jacob has lots of experience all around in the construction field. From small repairs to full installs, remodeling to new construction, drywall, electrical, plumbing, porches and more.
If Jacob isn’t working on building or fabricating something; you will find him out farming, hunting, or being a mechanic… Normally with two little helpers in tow.
There is a chance you might see the littles on a job every now and then depending on the day.

As we reflect on 2025, we are so proud of how far we have come. Our first year as a business was a success and will be busy in the upcoming year. We want to thank our wonderful customers for putting their trust in us to turn their vision into a reality.
We learned lots along the way and still have more to learn…. Unfortunately, that is part of starting a business. Sometimes visions do not line up, miscommunication happens, or equipment doesn’t work how it should. We want to make sure our customers are happy at the end of the project.
We can’t wait to see what this new year brings to our developing and growing business. As Brad Henry put it: "Believe in yourself, and the rest will fall into place. Have faith in your own abilities, work hard, and there is nothing you cannot accomplish.”
Speaking of a new year new you… we discovered a different patch for our hats. Can we just take a minute to admire how sharp the leather looks! (If you want some Buford Construction apparel, contact us and we can make it happen!)

This client wanted their front door moved and closet demolished to allow for a more open concept layout and more flow throughout the house. We also made the front and back porch bigger. Love how this project turned out!
