Wacky Wednesday!

Did you know that ice served as the original air conditioner? Before modern AC units, people relied on huge blocks of ice to stay cool. The early air conditioners’ cooling power was actually measured in terms of the equivalent amount of ice required!

It's Thursday! School is out and summer break is here!

Did you know that ac affects our summer breaks?

Before the invention of the AC people believed that summers were too hot for children to study, so they did not have to go to school during the hottest months. Luckily for kids, the idea stuck and they get to enjoy the summer months with the benefit of the cooling system.

Trivia Tuesday!

What were the first air conditioners like in the early 1900's?
. .

Until 1931 air conditioners were too big and expensive for regular homes. The first air conditioners were over six feet tall, just as wide and measured about 20 feet in length. Two inventors named H.H. Schultz and J.Q. Sherman made the AC small enough for everyday households. However, those early models were still bigger and much heavier than those of today.
Imagine having an AC unit like that in your house today!

A clean filter = better airflow, lower bills, and a longer system life.

That means higher bills as well as more wear and tear!

A good way to extend the lifetime of your unit is by keeping your outside unit clean and clear as well as keeping your filters replaced!

Have a weird HVAC noise?

Some noises are common such as humming, whooshing and light clicking. However, noises that screech, bang, buzz or gurgle aren't common.
