Thank you to our team at the MN Race For The Cure last Saturday! It turned out to be a beautiful day! And truly, a very special thank you to all those who donated towards our team!

The Race For The Cure event is incredibly inspiring! Not only is it a chance to support a very important cause, but also a chance to hear the amazing stories of survival and remembrance from those who honor people they have lost, all there to continue the message of the importance of research, early detection and support. Our team was very proud to be a part of the race again this year!

Austin Olson, the newest addition to our office team, brings over 12 years of experience in the electrical industry along with a degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance from Dakota County Technical College. He joins us as a Project Manager with a strong industry background and a clear enthusiasm for contributing to our team’s success.

Since coming on board, Austin has been quickly learning our processes, gaining familiarity with our projects, and building strong connections across the team. He has shown a great ability to absorb new information, ask the right questions, and apply what he’s learning in a meaningful way. Austin brings a fresh perspective, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude that will continue to support our team and strengthen our project management efforts. We’re excited to see how he grows and contributes moving forward.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending time outdoors and making memories with his family. His favorite activities include hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time on the lake. He and his wife have a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter and a yellow Labrador, who keep them busy and active year-round.

Troy brings 37 years of experience in the electrical industry and leads our Delta maintenance team. He ensures projects run smoothly, but what truly sets him apart is the way he supports and respects the people he works with. Over the years, Troy has built strong, lasting relationships at MSP Electric—connections he values deeply, and that makes day-to-day work more meaningful. To him, the MSP Electric team isn’t just a group of coworkers, it’s a family that celebrates both big wins and small victories together.

You can always count on Troy to show up, lend a hand, and guide his team to success. Outside of work, he enjoys biking, playing frisbee golf, and catching Twins games with his sons. Above all, he treasures being a grandpa, a role that brings him as much joy as anything else in life.

As a GFIC, he leads crews, coordinates projects, and ensures every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. He leads by example, consistently motivating those around him and bringing out the best in his team. Jeff has earned the respect of his crews not only for his extensive knowledge and skill, but also for the guidance and support he provides each day. He’s a highly skilled electrician, a confident and capable leader, and someone his team can always depend on.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoys traveling and spending time at the lake with his family, making the most of every well-earned moment off the clock. We’re proud to have Jeff as part of our team and grateful for the leadership and commitment he brings each and every day!

Every team needs a Laci, and we're grateful to have her on ours!

Laci brings 11 years of experience in the electrical industry and currently serves as General Foreperson on the 2025 Concourse A Heating project at MSP Airport, where she is leading alongside other women on the MSP Electric team. She is also stepping into the early stages of the 2025 Fire Protection Systems Upgrades project, preparing to take the lead as it gets underway. Known for her exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership, and tireless work ethic, Laci is an invaluable part of our team.

What she values most about MSP Electric is its people-first culture—a culture built on teamwork, support, and a shared commitment to helping everyone succeed.

Outside of work, you'll find Laci spending time with family and friends, hunting for vintage treasures at estate sales, feeding wildlife, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings year-round.
