I am stoked to share that KTB Construction Services is now a licensed General Engineering Contractor! I took a step back last year from continuing this as a “side business” so I could get my ducks in a row to put 100% focus into making this into a legitimate construction company. Im super excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to pick up where I left off. Our books are open for new work!

Photo dump of some jobs from this year that never got posted. Built a berm with an outlet pipe and de-silting basin to stop sediment from getting washed down to the neighboring property below. Also extended the drain pipe to empty all the way down into the basin.

Went back to this property in Wine Country to add more road base to extend it all the way to the bottom. Its always a go...

Tackled my biggest job yet over the last week. 5400 SF house pad over-exc in Nuevo. Ended up taking out about 950 CY and put back about 1100 CY to make the pad elevation and slopes around the perimeter. Super happy with how it turned out after dealing with an unexpected storm that threw a wrench in things while I was close to being done. This was my first time dealing with preparing a bid, writing a contract, and dealing with all the county requirements for a project like this. I learned a lot in the process that will help me moving forward and Im grateful for these customers choosing KTB Construction Services to handle this part of their home project 👍🏼.

Finished up the second “phase” of this customer’s ADU project over the weekend. Had to do an additional 200 SF of demo due to the location of the ADU shifting and got rid of all the green waste/organic filled dirt. Cleaned up the entire area to get it back to native ground and loaded out the bulk of the excess material. Now the general contractor building the ADU has a clean, blank canvas to work with (After they dig out and pull the tree stumps, which ended up being much larger than expected).

Knocked out the first part of this demo job to clear the area for a new ADU that will be built in the corner. Started clearing/grubbing the planter area and knocked down the small trees in the corner too. We will be back to get rid of all the green waste, do some additional demo in the driveway and grade a level pad for the ADU when the customer is ready.
